- Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business insights
- Create models to identify trends and track changes across time
- Develop and deliver analyses and reports to internal and external stakeholders
- Work with customer success team leads to identify savings opportunity areas for external stakeholders
- Track the performance of Health Plan initiatives for external stakeholders and proactively identify ways to improve performance
- Combine quantitative data with qualitative data (e.g., Health Plan contracts) to help internal and external stakeholders understand the relationship between claims data and broader Health Plan decisions
- Work with management team to structure an analytic environment that supports ongoing problem-solving
- Support R&D to help better understand people and their healthcare usage patterns and identify strategies to decrease cost and improve health outcomes
- 1-2 years of experience working in a role as a data analyst
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred with practical and academic experience in data analytics
- Demonstrated success in team environments
- Detailed analytical abilities demonstrated through coursework and job experience
- A natural curiosity for identifying issues within data and developing business solutions
- Data Visualization skills a plus (e.g., Looker)
- Experience in financial modeling a plus, but not required
- Experience in Google Cloud Platform a plus, but not required
- Experience in the healthcare industry a plus, but not required
- SQL experience required; R and Python a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
